.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather conditions are not expected in the upcoming week.
Temperatures this morning will be in the single digits above and
below zero for most people in the region. High temperatures will
be primarily in the teens and 20s and minimum RH values will be
around or above 55%. Winds may gust to around 30mph this
afternoon; however the area of highest winds (northeast Nebraska)
will be located in an area with minimum RH values above 70%.
Temperatures return to the 30s Friday and Saturday. Winds gusting
to around 20mph and minimum RH values greater than 70% are
expected. Saturday brings a chance of some snow to the region with
the possibility of some accumulations, particularly for areas
north of the Platte River.
Heading into Sunday and the latter part of the forecast period,
wind gusts around or below 20mph are expected along with minimum
RH values well above 50% each day.
