.DISCUSSION...
Light showers continue to move across eastern Nebraska into
western Iowa this morning as a cold front moves across our area
today. Winds will be shifting from southerly to westerly or
west-northwesterly by this afternoon with showers exiting the
area by around 2 PM. Dangerous fire conditions not expected today
with excellent mixing heights and decent transport winds leading
to Good smoke dispersal through this afternoon.
Saturday we`ll see another cold front move through shifting winds
to northwesterly with stronger winds behind the front through the
afternoon into the evening. We`ll see shower and storm chances in
northeast Nebraska with this system through the afternoon, but
the rest of our area should remain dry with humidity dropping to
35 to 45% across southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
