This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Tuesday

Severe storm chances will linger into tonight (15-30% chance),
with the primary threats being damaging winds, large hail,
and localized flooding, but a tornado cannot be ruled out.

Additional severe storm development is expected Tuesday afternoon
and evening, mainly near and south of Interstate 80. The primary
threats will be flooding, damaging winds, and large hail, though
a tornado or two cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday night through Monday

Chances are increasing for oppressive heat moving into the
Central Plains late next week into next weekend as heat indices
reach 100 to 105 degrees, especially Friday and Saturday.

Spotter activation may be needed at times today and Tuesday.
