This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Thursday

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday night through Wednesday

Although confidence is low, a few scattered showers and storms
could develop Thursday evening into the early morning hours of
Friday. If a storm is able to develop, it could be strong to
severe with large hail or strong winds. The Storm Prediction
Center has areas mainly north of Interstate 80 in a marginal risk
of severe weather.

Dangerous heat is expected for Friday through Sunday, with heat
index values forecast to be in the 100 to 110 degree range. An
Extreme Heat Watch is in effect from 10 am Friday through 9 pm
Sunday.
