If a storm is able to develop, it could be strong to severe with large hail or strong winds. The Storm Prediction Center has areas mainly north of Interstate 80 in a marginal risk of severe weather. Dangerous heat is expected for Friday through Sunday, with heat index values forecast to be in the 100 to 110 degree range.
