The tornado began in a wooded area south of E Big Richland Creek Rd causing timber damage. The tornado impacted a home on Brown Hollow causing roof damage and snapping nearby trees. The tornado continued east causing timber damage on Hatcher Hollow Rd, then dissipated along Smith Rd. .Fairview Tornado... Timber damage occurred near Hwy 46, progressing east to the Pinewood Substation in far western Williamson County where several trees were snapped or uprooted. The tornado crossed Interstate 840 causing additional timber damage along Liberty Rd, then dissipated as it crossed Valley Rd. .Hampshire Tornado... Here, timber damage occurred, as well as damage to at least one barn, on Old State Rd and Roy Thompson Rd. The tornado crossed into an inaccessible wooded thereafter, then emerged onto Rippey Lake Rd causing additional damage to trees. The tornado then caused significant damage to a home, removing almost the entire roof section and collapsing most walls. This is where the EF2 rating was achieved with estimated winds of 120 mph. The tornado weakened as it moved southeast, causing additional timber damage on South Bridges Rd, then dissipated near Ashwood Rd. .Mt. Pleasant... Here the tornado caused timber damage by uprooting trees. The tornado counties east southeast across a residential area in Sunnyside where mainly minor timber damage was observed.
