...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DICKSON...NORTH
CENTRAL MAURY...WESTERN WILLIAMSON AND NORTHEASTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES
THROUGH 1030 PM CDT...

At 949 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles east of Centerville, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Spring Hill, Thompson`s Station, Fairview, Bon Aqua, Primm Springs,
Leipers Fork, and Lyles.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 178 and 182.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 1 and 27.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
