...COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT FOR EARLIER TODAY HAS EXPIRED...

* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level
  expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline.

* WHERE...Southern Fairfield County.

* WHEN...Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Brief minor flooding of the more vulnerable locations
  near the waterfront and shoreline.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another round of coastal flooding, potentially
  more significant and more widespread is possible later in the weekend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded roadways.

  and possibly just meet minor flood benchmarks Thursday morning.

  more widespread is possible later in the weekend.
