...COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH
THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level
  expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline.

* WHERE...In New Jersey, Hudson County. In New York, Southern
  Queens and Southern Nassau Counties.

* WHEN...From this afternoon through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Brief minor flooding of the most vulnerable locations near the
waterfront and shoreline.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional rounds of localized minor flood
  possible during the late afternoon into evening high tides
  through midweek. Potential for more widespread minor to locally
  moderate coastal flooding with the Thursday evening high tide.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded roadways.
