WEDNESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...
...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IS CANCELLED...

* WHAT...For the first Coastal Flood Statement, up to one half
  foot of inundation above ground level in vulnerable areas near
  the waterfront and shoreline. For the second Coastal Flood
  Statement, up to one half foot of inundation above ground
  level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and
  shoreline.

* WHERE...Southern Queens and Southern Nassau Counties.

* WHEN...For the first Coastal Flood Statement, until midnight
  EDT tonight. For the second Coastal Flood Statement, from 7 AM
  EDT Wednesday through Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Brief minor flooding of the more vulnerable locations
  near the waterfront and shoreline.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional minor coastal flooding is
  possible with subsequent high tides, particularly for the
  Wednesday morning and Thursday morning cycles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded roadways.
