...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southern Connecticut, including the following
  counties, Middlesex, New Haven and New London.

* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in is occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 930 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
    flooding is ongoing in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Jewett City, Middletown, Norwich, New London, Guilford,
    Colchester, Clinton, East Hampton, Groton, Old Saybrook,
    Durham, Salem, Chester, Mystic, Waterford, East Lyme,
    Ledyard, Cromwell, Griswold and Portland.
