...The National Weather Service in New York NY has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in New Jersey...

  Saddle River near Lodi affecting Bergen County.

For the Saddle River...including Lodi...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM EARLY THIS MORNING TO LATE THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Saddle River near Lodi.

* WHEN...From early this morning to late this morning.

* IMPACTS...At 5.5 feet, Saddle River begins to overflow into the
  back parking lot of the Boys and Girls club.
  At 6.0 feet, Flooding on the Boys and Girls Club parking lot.
  Flooding begins at the parking lot of the Portuguese American
  Club. Flooding starts at the intersection of Kimming Avenue adn
  Borig Place. Flooding also begins at the parking lot at the
  Municipal building in Rochelle Park. Saddle Brook along Rochelle
  Park Swim Club water is overflowing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:45 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 5.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 3:45 AM EDT Wednesday was 5.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 6.0
    feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
    this morning.
  - Flood stage is 5.5 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    6.1 feet on 01/27/1996.
