Numerous showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain are likely this afternoon and evening. Rainfall rates of 2+ inches per hr are possible with any repetitive thunderstorm activity. A widespread 1 to 3 inches of rainfall is likely with localized rainfall totals of up to 5 inches possible.
