...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT THURSDAY...
...GALE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE
THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, east winds 10 to 20 kt with
  gusts up to 25 kt and seas 6 to 9 feet. For the Gale Watch,
  northeast winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 11
  to 16 feet possible.

* WHERE...Sandy Hook NJ to Montauk Point NY out 20 nm.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 AM EDT Thursday.
  For the Gale Watch, from Thursday morning through late
  Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Rough
  conditions can be expected around inlets.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and seas.
