...PATCHY DENSE FOG LINGERS UNTIL 7 AM...

Patchy dense fog has been gradually clearing from west to east and
will linger over eastern CT until about 7 AM. Visibilities can
fall below on quarter mile in dense fog.

Motorists encountering fog early this morning should take extra
caution. Use low beam headlights or fog lamps, and allow extra
braking distance between other vehicles.
