Patchy dense fog has developed across parts of southern
Connecticut and the lower Hudson Valley early this morning.
Visibility may be reduced to below a quarter mile in spots.
The fog should burn off within a couple of hours after sunrise.

Motorists should proceed with extra caution and be prepared for
rapid changes in visibility. Use low beam headlights and allow for
extra braking distance.
