...LIGHT WINTRY MIX THIS MORNING...

Scattered light bands of snow are moving through the area from
southwest to northeast. In areas where temperatures have been
below freezing for several hours, snow could stick to untreated
roads and cause slick conditions. For Long Island, where
temperatures are a bit warmer, mainly plain rain has been
observed.

Patchy light freezing rain/drizzle remains possible through the
early morning hours for much of the area. If this does develop, a
glaze of ice is possible on any untreated surfaces. This may
result in hazardous travel conditions.
