...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH
THURSDAY AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of North Idaho, including the following
counties, eastern Benewah, eastern Kootenai, and Shoshone.
* WHEN...From 4 PM PST this afternoon through Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
There will also be a risk of mud and rock slides in steep terrain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An atmospheric river moving into the Pacific Northwest will
bring two periods of moderate to heavy rainfall to the
central Idaho Panhandle. Rain and snowmelt will bring an
increased risk for urban and small stream flooding and mud
and rock slides in steep terrain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of North Central Washington, including the
following county, Chelan.
* WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of smaller
rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone
locations. People, structures, and roads located below steep
slopes and near recently burned areas may be at risk from rock and
mud slides.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An atmospheric river moving into the Pacific Northwest will
bring two periods of moderate to heavy rainfall to western
and central Chelan County, Monday and then Tuesday through
Thursday. Rain and snowmelt will bring an increased risk for
urban and small stream flooding and mud and rock slides on
burn scars.
