...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. There is
  a 10 to 20 percent probability for excessive rainfall with
  rainfall rates of 1 inch per hour or greater.

* WHERE...Portions of North Idaho, including the following counties,
  Bonner and Boundary and Northeast Washington, including the
  following county, Pend Oreille.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in rock and mudslides, and
  flooding of other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Storm
  drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR THE BURN SCAR IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding and debris flows caused by excessive
  rainfall are possible over the Gwen burn scar in Nez Perce county
  in Idaho and the Cougar Creek burn scar in Asotin and Garfield
  counties in Washington.

* WHERE...Portions of North Central Idaho, including the following
  county, Nez Perce and Southeast Washington, including the
  following counties, Asotin and Garfield.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Heavy rainfall over the burn scar is expected up to and
  during the period of the watch. Rainfall rates with the
  thunderstorms will reach up to one inch per hour. Residents near
  the burn scar should prepare for potential flooding impacts. Be
  sure to stay up to date with information from local authorities.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - National Weather Service Meteorologists are forecasting heavy
    rainfall over the burn scar, which may lead to flash flooding
    and debris flows.

* WHAT...Flash flooding and debris flows caused by excessive
  rainfall are possible over the Pioneer and 25 mile burn scars in
  Chelan County, the Cedar Creek, Cub Creek, Muckamuck, Walker
  Creek, Eagle Bluff, Stud Horse, and Swawilla burn scars in
  Okanogan and Ferry County, and the Hope and Lake Spokane burn
  scars in Stevens County.

* WHERE...Portions of North Central and Northeast Washington,
  including the following counties, in North Central Washington,
  Chelan and Okanogan. In Northeast Washington, Ferry and Stevens.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Heavy rainfall over the burn scar is expected up to and
  during the period of the watch. Rainfall rates with the
  thunderstorms will reach up to one inch per hour. Residents near
  burn scars should prepare for potential flooding impacts. Be sure
  to stay up to date with information from local authorities. Heavy
  rainfall could trigger flash flooding of low-lying areas,
  urbanized street flooding, and debris flows in and near recent
  wildfire burn scars.
