Central WA - Warmer today with a 15% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms along Canadian Border. - Increased westerly winds, gusting up to 20 mph zones 705-706 Sunday evening with poor recoveries overnight. - Gusty winds and low humidity late Monday afternoon and evening zones 705-706-707. Eastern WA - Warmer today with 15% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms along the Canadian Border. - Breezy in the Okanogan Valley with southerly wind gusts up to 20 mph Sunday afternoon. - Poor recoveries on mid to upper slopes North Idaho - Passing clouds and sprinkles mainly before noon, otherwise warmer with low humidity in the afternoon. - Poor recoveries overnight on mid to upper slopes. - Generally light winds outside infrequent afternoon gusts 10 to 15 mph. Temperatures will trend warmer then next few days with low humidities. Recoveries will be poor within thermal belts. A stronger push of westerly winds is expected for Monday through the Cascade gaps and the western Columbia Basin. Tuesday will become breezy region-wide as temperatures begin cooling with gusts near 20 mph.
