National Weather Service Spokane WA
807 PM PDT Tue Jul 14 2026

Forecast is based on forecast start time of 2000 PDT on July 14.
.DISCUSSION...

Greater chances for thunderstorms (15-20%) emerge Wednesday afternoon
after 1200 hours. CWR values remain at 0%. The increased moisture
will also lead to overall higher RH values Tuesday through
Wednesday. Winds will be light through the period, becoming
largely terrain driven at night after sundown. Gusty, erratic
winds cannot be ruled near in any thunderstorms that develop in
the region. Temperatures around the fire area will be highly
elevation dependent, with considerably warmer temperatures in the
Kootenay River valley just to the east.

If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather
Service.
