Today will remain hot, dry, and unstable. Winds will remain out
of the east to northeast today becoming more northerly overnight
tonight. Ridge top winds could gusts up to 20 mph this evening
with the lower slopes and valleys being more sheltered from the
strongest gusts this evening. Winds will be lighter on Friday with
a shift to the east to southeast. Friday will remain very warm
and dry. The chance for rain showers increases to 15 percent
Saturday evening, and 30 percent on Sunday. There is also a 20
percent chance for thunderstorms Sunday afternoon. The showers and
thunderstorms will have the potential to produce gusty outflow
winds.
