...LONG DURATION SNOW EVENT FOR CENTRAL PANHANDLE MOUNTAINS THURSDAY
THROUGH SATURDAY...

.Multiple weather system will bring snow to the Central Panhandle
Mountains beginning Thursday and continuing through Saturday. The
first round of snow on Thursday will bring light accumulations to
the valleys and moderate accumulations to the mountains. Subsequent
rounds Friday into the weekend will come with rising snow levels
with the potential for heavy snow above 3000 feet.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE 3000 FEET...

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snow
  accumulations of 1 to 3 inches valleys and 4 to 8 inches in the
  mountains Thursday and Thursday night. For the Winter Storm Watch
  for elevations above 3000 feet, heavy snow possible Friday through
  Saturday. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 13 inches possible.

* WHERE...Osburn, Pinehurst, Wallace, Fourth Of July Pass, St.
  Maries, Fernwood, Dobson Pass, Kellogg, Mullan, and Lookout Pass.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 7 AM Thursday to 4 AM
  PST Friday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Friday morning
  through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Winter travel conditions expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will become heavy at times Friday
  through Saturday over Lookout Pass.
