Winds will be rather light today outside of any storms, but the
excessive heat and low afternoon humidity will result in some
areas of elevated fire weather conditions this afternoon. There
will be a chance of both morning showers and thunderstorms across
central and eastern Oklahoma and then additional convection this
afternoon mainly across the southern half of Oklahoma into western
north Texas.
