.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather is expected across parts of southwestern
Oklahoma and western north Texas, due primarily to RH values
dropping into upper teens. Morning convection has produced an area
of gusty southeast winds gradually migrating southwestward that will
complicate fire fighting efforts. As this feature wanes, winds
should gradually return to light and southerly.
Near elevated conditions will continue each afternoon through the
weekend across parts of western Oklahoma and western north Texas.
Scattered showers and storms will be possible tonight and tomorrow,
though predictability is low.
