.DISCUSSION...
Heat will be a primary issue again for firefighting efforts as
the heat index will reach triple digits around noon and reach
a maximum value of around 105 this afternoon. South to southwest
winds of 10-15 mph and gusts to 20 mph are expected this
afternoon. No significant wind shifts are expected - winds will
gradually become southwesterly after sunrise and gradually shift
back to southerly in the afternoon.
