.DISCUSSION...
Through the daytime hours on Wednesday, the weather situation
will be similar to the last few days with hot temperatures,
a south wind, and humidity reaching as low as 30 percent or
so. There will be some gustiness to the winds through the day
on Wednesday. The mixing height and smoke transport/dispersal
will increase around 9 AM or 10 AM as the nighttime inversion
breaks, and the gustiness will be more pronounced after this
time.
We do expect changing weather on Wednesday night into Thursday.
A cold front will move into Oklahoma from Kansas Wednesday
afternoon and evening. Shower and storm chances will increase
as this front approaches with chances increasing after midnight
Wednesday night, and storms likely near and after daybreak. The
cold front will slow down as it moves south, and it is unknown
if this front will reach Anadarko. If it does, winds will shift
Thursday morning to become a northeasterly wind. If not, the
general wind will remain south or southeasterly. Regardless of
if the front reaches Anadarko or not, any showers and
thunderstorms that develop or move nearby will bring the
potential of variable and gusty outflow winds which should be
monitored.
