.DISCUSSION...

Elevated fire conditions are expected today due to a combination
of breezy south-southwest winds and extremely dry fuels. Minimum
relative humidities this afternoon will drop to near 30%. Shower
and storm chances will increase late this evening along a cold
front that will bring a northerly wind shift during the Sunday.
There is a large amount of uncertainty in the frontal timing,
which could be as early as early Sunday morning if thunderstorm
outflow aids the front or as late as Sunday evening if this does
not occur. A few storms could be severe Sunday with damaging wind
gusts and large hail.
