...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
.DISCUSSION...
South to southeast winds at 5 to 10 mph are expected through tonight. Winds
become more complicated Monday with a cool front and surface low expected to
be in the area. Currently, winds are expected to shift to the S and SW in the
morning then becoming westerly. However, if the front/surface low moves further
south than currently expected winds could shift to the N and NE.
RH recovery is expected to be in the 50 to 55 percent range tonight with humidity
expected to drop into the 15 to 20 percent range Monday afternoon although if the
fire ends up north of the front RH could be a bit higher. There is also a low chance
for showers/storms with erratic/variable, strong winds possible.
