The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Kay County in northern Oklahoma...
  Northern Noble County in northern Oklahoma...
  Grant County in northern Oklahoma...
  Northeastern Garfield County in northern Oklahoma...

* Until 545 AM CDT.

* At 453 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Douglass to 4 miles south of Oxford to 5 miles
  west of South Haven to near Manchester, moving southeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Enid, Ponca City, Blackwell, Tonkawa, Medford, Newkirk, Pond Creek,
  Garber, Billings, Lamont, Kaw City, Wakita, Red Rock, Kremlin,
  Breckenridge, Marland, Braman, Hunter, Deer Creek, and Manchester.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. These storms are producing widespread
wind damage across southern Kansas. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows! Torrential rainfall is
occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not
drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
