.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 214 AM CST Wed Nov 19 2025

Expect a brief dry day today with highs right around average. Had to
pull highs down slightly due to the anticipated cloud cover, but
should we break out temps may go over. Tonight WAA promotes the
development of more showers and storms that will last through
Friday. Aloft another shortwave lifts into the Central Plains by
Friday afternoon and swings through the area Friday night into
Saturday morning. This will bring more beneficial rainfall to the
area, around 1-2" by Saturday morning.

PoPs taper off by Saturday afternoon and give us a mainly dry
weekend with slightly above normal temperatures. PoPs then start to
increase again Sunday night into Monday as a deeper system aloft
approaches from the west. This trof begins to lift as it moves
northeast through the Midwest brining a sfc cold front with it.

Broad troughing aloft takes over by Thursday morning along with
building sfc high pressure, together bringing colder air to the
region for Thanksgiving.

.AVIATION /18Z TAFS THROUGH 18Z THURSDAY/...
Issued at 1128 AM CST Wed Nov 19 2025

Lower ceilings are expected to be the main impact for this TAF
issuance as low stratus struggles to mix out across the area. As
temperatures gradually warm, ceilings may improve a bit, but
will likely remain below MVFR. Some fog continues to linger, but
that is also expected to improve over the next couple hours.
Rain showers and possibly a thunderstorm will arrive toward the
very end of this TAF issuance; however, it will become more
widespread beyond 18Z Thursday.
