The Flash Flood Watch is cancelled for a portion of southeast
Missouri, including the following areas, Cape Girardeau,
Mississippi, New Madrid and Scott.

The flash flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flash Flood
Watch is being cancelled.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Missouri, including the following
  areas, Bollinger, Butler, Carter, Ripley, Stoddard and Wayne MO.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Heavy rain is expected over the Flood Watch area through this
    morning. This will result in the potential for localized
    areas receiving several inches of rainfall and a risk of
    flash flooding.
