...The National Weather Service in Paducah KY has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Kentucky...

  Green River at Paradise.

.Recent heavy rainfall will cause the Green River at Paradise to
rise above flood stage later today.

For the Green River...including Paradise...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON TO LATE SATURDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Green River at Paradise.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to late Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 380.0 feet, Water rises over the skimmer wall at the
  TVA fossil plant.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 515 AM CDT Tuesday...the stage was 378.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this afternoon to a crest of 381.4 feet Thursday evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 380.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    381.3 feet on 02/08/2010.
