.DISCUSSION...
Southwest winds will increase and become gusty on Tuesday, but it
will remain quite humid and mixing heights will struggle to reach
2000` AGL over much of the region. Winds will remain gusty and veer
to west and eventually northwest on Wednesday, which will lead to
good to excellent smoke dispersion. The humidity on Wednesday will
drop into the 35-40% range over the Mark Twain, while much of
southern Illinois and west Kentucky will drop below 50%. It will
be more humid and less windy on Thursday. A cooling trend is
expected with another cold front Thursday night and a very cold
airmass arriving over the weekend.
