...Snow Showers with Gusty Winds and Reduced Visibility This
Morning...

An area of light to moderate snow showers will move through parts
of southeast Illinois, southwest Indiana, and northwest Kentucky,
and southern Kentucky Pennyrile this morning, mainly through 11
AM CST, or 12 PM EST. These snow showers will bring a dusting up
to potentially as much as 1 inch of snow accumulation. While most
of the snow will melt quickly due to warm ground temperatures, a
few slippery spots on elevated road surfaces and bridges cannot be
ruled out.

Wind gusts up to 30 mph will also reduce visibility at times
under heavier snow shower activity. If driving this morning, use
extra caution, and give yourself extra time to reach your
destination. Snow showers will quickly exit the area by early this
afternoon.
