.DISCUSSION...
Digging shortwave trough movement coupled with a surface cold
front (and pre-frontal trough) will foster fairly widespread
showers and thunderstorms across the region this afternoon and
evening.
Additional showers and lower probability thunderstorms may develop
through the day Sunday amid cooler northwest flow plus lingering
shortwave movement. This cooler air will also cause high
temperature to fall below seasonal averages.
