.Discussion...
A large ridge will build over the region today and remain in
place through the rest of next week. A prolonged and potentially
dangerous heat wave is anticipated under this ridge through
Friday/Saturday.
Despite MinRH values ranging between 25% to 35% this afternoon,
wind gusts will be less than 20mph. Low-level moisture will
advance late this evening into early Monday and MinRH values
Monday and Tuesday MinRH values will likely range between 40% to
50%. Isolated thunderstorms/showers may develop Monday with an
embedded shortwave.
