.Discussion...
A cold front will cross the region and stall near to south of
interstate 70 today, promoting periods of showers and
thunderstorms mainly south of Pittsburgh through tonight.
Locations north of the boundary are likely to see slightly drier
daytime humidities even as high temperature falls near the daily
average.
Convection will again be relegated to locations south of
interstate 70 Friday as high pressure north of the stalled front
supports slightly below average temperature and further dew point
reductions. The active weather pattern featuring widespread daily
thunderstorm chances returns Saturday into next week.
