...RIVERS RISING IN THE WASHINGTON CASCADES THIS WEEK...

Rains that brought rising river levels to the area, especially the
Washington Cascades over the weekend, will be compounded as another
round of heavier precipitation is fed by a strong atmospheric river
over the next several days.

Currently, the Naches River at Naches and the Yakima River at Parker
and Kiona are forecast to reach moderate flood stage Thursday
through Friday. The Naches River at Cliffdell, and the Yakima River
at Easton, Horlick, and Umatanum are forecast to reach minor flood
stage tonight through Wednesday. Confidence is moderate (45-70%) in
the forecast as steady rain and warm temperatures will persist
through the midweek.
