...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Washington...

  Yakima River at Umtanum affecting Kittitas County.

  Yakima River at Horlick affecting Kittitas County.

  Yakima River at Kiona affecting Benton County.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Washington...

  Yakima River near Parker affecting Yakima County.

For the Yakima River...including Horlick, Umtanum, Parker, Kiona...
Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Yakima River at Umtanum.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 36.5 feet, There will be flooding in pastures along
  the river.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:15 PM PST Tuesday the stage was 34.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 33.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage to 35.7 feet
    late this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just
    after midnight tonight to 35.3 feet late tonight. It will
    rise above flood stage again early tomorrow afternoon to 37.0
    feet early Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood
    stage again Friday morning to 32.6 feet late Monday evening.
    It will then rise again but remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 35.5 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    37.1 feet on 11/23/1959.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 PM PST Tuesday the stage was 36.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 35.5 feet
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1:30 PM PST Tuesday was 37.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 36.8 feet late this
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this evening
    to 34.9 feet late tomorrow morning. It will rise above flood
    stage tomorrow afternoon to 37.1 feet early Thursday morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage again Thursday evening to
    31.0 feet Monday afternoon. It will then rise again but
    remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 36.0 feet.

NOTICE...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Yakima River at Kiona.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, There will be flooding of in the RV Park
  in Benton City along the river.  There will extensive flooding in
  the West Richland area from Twin Bridge to the Columbia River,
  including the West Richland Golf Course and along Kingston...Hyde
  and Jones roads.




* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 PM PST Tuesday the stage was 6.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late Thursday morning to a crest of 15.4 feet early Saturday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    15.3 feet on 05/18/2011.

  county roads.  Some homes and farm buildings will be flooded and
  there will be significant riverbank and topsoil erosion.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:00 PM PST Tuesday the stage was 9.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 9.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
    afternoon to 11.0 feet late tonight. It will then fall late
    tomorrow morning. It will rise to 12.4 feet Thursday
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Friday
    evening to 7.1 feet late Monday evening. It will then rise
    again but remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    12.2 feet on 01/18/2011.
