...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...River flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Washington, including the
  following county, Kittitas.

* WHEN...Until 400 PM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding along the Yakima River at Easton.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 212 PM PST, Gauge reports indicated heavy rain. Flooding
    is already occurring in the warned area. Between 4 and 6
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2 inches are possible
    in the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    mainly rural areas of Northwestern Kittitas County along the
    Yakima River at Easton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
