.DISCUSSION...Northerly flow aloft and an encroaching upper level
ridge from the west will promote cool and dry conditions
through the beginning of the week. The presence of a thermal
trough along the coast Monday will allow for east winds to occur
through the day. Afternoon humidities will drop into the upper
teens to low 20s across Central Oregon and the John Day Basin
through the workweek, with good to moderate (50-70%) humidity
recoveries expected area-wide. Slight chance (~15%) of mountain
showers Wednesday, with better chances (40-60%) for widespread
rain over the weekend.
