.DISCUSSION...A slow moving offshore system continues to bring
light snow and rain showers across the Cascades and east slopes
through the morning, tapering off through the afternoon. Breezy
winds with clearing skies by late morning, as highest gusts
expected over the Kittitas Valley and Cascade Gaps. Chilly
temperatures Tuesday morning, then warming through the remainder
of the week. Slight chance (15-25%) of showers over the Blues
early Tuesday, with next chance of widespread rain late Saturday.

***Winds are 20 foot 10 minute averages***
***CWR-chance of wetting rain 0.10 or greater***
***Ventilation Index is derived from the
transport wind multiplied by the mixing
height in 100`s of feet. Index categories
are a generalized indicator and users are
encourage to develop criteria that are
   suitable and representative of dispersion
conditions in their local area of interest.***
Note: Max transport winds may not occur
at the same time as max mixing height.
