.DISCUSSION...The weekend will be unseasonably cool with breezy
winds today. There will be mountain showers today along the
Cascades and the northern Blues--isolated showers elsewhere.
Precipitation amounts will be less than a tenth of an inch (0.25
inch along the Cascade crest). Isolated thunderstorms today will
mainly develop north of Mt. Adams, but the atmosphere is unstable
with cumulus buildups across the forecast area. Skies will clear,
winds will diminish, and tonight will be chilly.
