Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Oregon and SE Washington
National Weather Service Pendleton OR
240 PM PDT Fri Jun 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...Breezy winds will persist across the Columbia Gorge,
Cascade Gaps, Kittitas Valley, and areas of the Columbia Basin
before slowly dissipating through the overnight period. Breezy
afternoon conditions will slowly trend downward through the
weekend as moderate (45-65%) overnight recoveries into Sunday
morning are expected and afternoon humidities dip into the mid-
teens Sunday afternoon for portions of the Basin. Overnight
recoveries bottom-out Monday morning (40-55%) across the Basin,
but will improve through the remainder of the workweek. Breezy
winds return Tuesday onward.

***Winds are 20 foot 10 minute averages***
***CWR-chance of wetting rain 0.10 or greater***
***Ventilation Index is derived from the
transport wind multiplied by the mixing
height in 100`s of feet. Index categories
are a generalized indicator and users are
encourage to develop criteria that are
   suitable and representative of dispersion
conditions in their local area of interest.***
Note: Max transport winds may not occur
at the same time as max mixing height.
