.DISCUSSION...A hot and dry period is expected to build over the
region through the next week. There will continue to be low-end
chances for isolated thunderstorms across primarily the eastern
mountains and central Washington Cascades during the afternoon
hours through at least the midweek, but otherwise expecting
above-average temperatures, decreasing RH recoveries, and
terrain-driven winds generally less than 15 mph, save for portions
of the Oregon Cascade foothills, which may occasionally gust up to
20 mph over the weekend.
