...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TO 9 PM PDT MONDAY FOR
FIRE WEATHER ZONE WA690 FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...

.DISCUSSION...The week will be characterized by persistently
breezy to windy conditions through the Cascade gaps, near- to
above-normal temperatures, and low relative humidity. There is a
slight chance of showers and thunderstorms across the Blue
Mountains Monday, then chances of light showers shift to the
Washington Cascades Wednesday before more widespread chances of
showers and cooler temperatures envelope the region Friday and
Saturday.

***Thunderstorms imply strong gusty winds***
***Winds are 20 foot 10 minute averages***
***CWR-chance of wetting rain 0.10 or greater***
***Ventilation Index is derived from the
transport wind multiplied by the mixing
height in 100`s of feet. Index categories
are a generalized indicator and users are
encourage to develop criteria that are
   suitable and representative of dispersion
conditions in their local area of interest.***
Note: Max transport winds may not occur
at the same time as max mixing height.
