.DISCUSSION...The weather pattern will be marked by a series of weak
systems progressing through the region this week, making for low-
end chances for showers and thunderstorms across the Washington
Cascades and eastern mountains of Oregon, as well as breezy
conditions through the Cascade Gaps and extending into the
Columbia Basin. RHs are generally expected to be elevated enough
to preclude critical conditions, however. Hot and dry conditions
are then expected to return over the weekend.
