.DISCUSSION...A prolonged rain event will continue today with rain
showers expected to impact the burn area this morning and afternoon.
Meanwhile, strong winds from a low level jet will impact the burn
area through tomorrow morning, with gusts around or just above 35 mph.
Rain will become light with more infrequent showers Thursday as the
bulk of the rain lifts north of the area. Winds will decrease,
but will remain between 10-15mph Thursday afternoon. Winds will become
less than 10mph overnight Thursday, with lighter winds and dry conditions
persisting into Saturday. Ventilation will remain poor due to near
surface mixing heights around the burn area through Thursday.
