a passing system is responsible for nearby observations picking up
0.04-0.08" of rain. Dry conditions are expected through the
remainder of the period, but winds will increase and peak late
morning through the early afternoon. Clouds will also break as
high pressure slides over the fire area, with a weak overnight
inversion breaking around 0900 Friday. More diurnal/terrain driven
winds Friday with slightly drier conditions.
