...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM PST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 70 mph.

* WHERE...Lower Columbia Basin of Washington.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strongest winds are located in the Hanford
  Reach area especially along Rattlesnake Mountain. Elsewhere,
  expect winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
